There are approx 20,000,000 PPI policies in the UK generating £5,000,000,000. It is estimated over 65% may have been mis-sold and do not cover the policy holder in the event they may need to make a claim. Only 4% of people ever claim on their PPI policy, of those 25% are turned down.
